Evaluation Of Interobserver Agreement

The number of X-rays and observers in this study is therefore within the standards found in the literature.6, 13, 14, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 There is no consensus in the literature on the limit value of k to consider a classification as reproducible.13, 15 These values are arbitrarily defined by the authors.15 Fleiss9 consider the k values between 0.40 and 0.75 as a moderate to good concordance. Svanholm et al.25 consider only good k-values greater than 0.75. Brage et al.22 in turn consider that k-values greater than 0.50 are reproducible. Landis and Koch,12 the parameter used in this study (Table 1) and the most widely used match rate today,13 considered to be 0.4-0.6 and a good match greater than 0.6. In all assessments, in addition to the results of the 19 experts, the results of residents and manual surgeons were compared separately.
